We all love a great Eyeshadow palette with an assortment of colors and finish. But our love for Eyeshadows go par-explanation when there is 99 pans in one single palette!
99 pans, an array of powder, matte-s, satins and metallics, bendable, good-coverage, gorgeous colors and costing just $20? Doesn’t that sound like a scandalous, haunting, beauty dream?
The ‘dream’ I speak of, is in in fact real, and goes by Urban Luxe 99 Color Eyeshadow Palette by BH Cosmetics. It’s one of their best selling item yet! I have used this palette on various occasions and I am going to walk you through this product and give you an honest opinion.

Packaging
First things first, the packaging is pretty basic. It’s your regular plastic packaging inside a carton box.
Outer Packaging
The outer packaging is as simple, chic and self-explanatory as it can get. A glimpse of the shades inside in the form of a picture upfront. Highlighted on top of it is the name Urban Luxe 99 Color Eyeshadow Palette by BH Cosmetics and weight of the palette right at the bottom. The backside bears a small of body-copy and call to action.
Palette
The palette itself is made in plastic. Upon opening, you would find 99 Eyeshadows sitting and shining in all glory. The color arrangement is indeed pleasing to the eye. There is no mirror or Eyeshadow brush included, which is probably what makes this palette so light-weight.
The color selection for Urban Luxe 99 Color Eyeshadow Palette by BH Cosmetics is quite diverse, which makes this an ideal palette for everyday, subtle looks. The colors range from lights to mediums to deep, complimenting all colors and races.
Where there are banana, pink and peach shades, there are also browns, mauves, Greys and blacks. To round it off, there are purples and greens and a neon pink or a maroon here and there.
Here are what the swatches look like:

Verdict
Urban Luxe 99 Color Eyeshadow Palette by BH Cosmetics is a versatile palette, not to mention beginner friendly. You could practice with this palette all you want and get your command on Eyeshadows and create fun looks in the name of learning.
The advantage is, even if some of the shades are particularly challenging to work with, you could learn and master the art of blending before you invest in a rather expensive palette. Because by the time you buy a Morphe or a Huda Beauty Palette, you would be a pro.
However, I would not call this palette a 99 Color Palette, this is more so a 99 Pan Palette. Why? Because upon usage, you would see that some of the shades are repetitive or really close in color to the other shade of the family. I am not exactly mad at it because this is actually pretty smart! You wouldn’t have to buy a whole new palette if some of the shades went out.
In a nutshell,Urban Luxe 99 Color Eyeshadow Palette by BH Cosmetics:
- Extremely affordable
- Better quality and performance than other similar priced palettes
- Works well with fingers and brushes both.
